  • Education: Invest more in public schools to better enhance teacher experiences and student performances.
  • Veterans: Ensure that the men and women who serve their country, as well as their families, are not left behind when their service has ended.

Ferguson Porter for California's 41st.

As a full-time resident of Palm Springs, I am running for California's 48th District to represent our community and neighbors in Congress.

I am the son of public school teachers, a small business owner, a published writer, and a proud husband.

While Trump tries to destroy our democracy, our economy and the American people’s sense of community, Republicans like Darrell Issa refuse to help the people they were elected to represent. I have heard from many of my friends in the community who are scared and angry. They are looking for someone to not just represent them, but fight for them.
